Allen R. Wolff is a shareholder in Anderson Kill's New York office. Allen's practice concentrates in construction litigation, insurance recovery, and the nexus between the two, as well as in complex commercial litigation. Allen is Co-chair of Anderson Kill's Construction Industry Practice group and Co-chair of Anderson Kill's Corporate and Commercial Litigation Practice group. He also is a member of Anderson Kill's Hospitality Industry group and a member of the COVID Task group.
Allen advises policyholders on issues relating to insurance coverage in general liability, property, casualty, fiduciary liability, and Directors & Officers liability insurance matters. He represents owners, developers, contractors, retailers, municipalities, financial institutions, hospitality businesses, condominium associations and tenants' associations on a full range of property, construction, engineering, contract and insurance coverage disputes. For many years, Allen was a partner at a preeminent Pacific Rim firm based in Hawaii. Before becoming a lawyer, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army, including many years as a tank commander, a reconnaissance scout, and an active-duty paratrooper. He subsequently served in the Army Reserve, reaching the rank of full Colonel and graduating from the Army's senior leadership program at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, PA, where he earned a Master's degree in Strategic Studies.
