This program will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of legal issues in risk management associated with construction in New York City and beyond, starting with the types of insurance available for construction projects, how it is obtained, who it protects, and the best practices for reviewing policies, endorsements and specifications. The panel will explain how to identify and understand risks, the management of risks and ways to ensure proper insurance
coverage and avoid surprises. We will also look at remedies for when the parties' expectations are not met.
