Prior to joining Anderson Kill, Joseph was an associate attorney at an east coast law firm where he represented clients in a variety of types of complex commercial litigation, including matters involving breach of contract, employment, negligence, product liability, insurance recovery, and construction litigation. He was a member of a trial team that helped underlying plaintiffs obtain recovery for their Superstorm Sandy losses through a $15.6 million jury verdict against an insurance consultant that improperly advised on the plaintiffs' property insurance policy. Previously, Joseph was a Judicial Extern and a Judicial Law Clerk with Judge Travis Francis of the Superior Court of New Jersey, where he drafted opinions and bench memoranda for Law, Criminal, and Chancery Division cases involving various issues including complex insurance claims, complex broker malpractice claims, contractual disputes in commercial litigation, the Open Public Records Act, New Jersey corporation law, trusts and estates, property law, and New Jersey civil and federal procedure. He also served as a Judicial Extern with Judge Susan Peikes Gantman of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and with Judge George J. Pagano of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.
While attending Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law, Joseph was a member of the Coalition Advocating for Rights and Dignities (CARD) and a member of the St. Thomas Moore Society.
