Isaac E. Druker's practice emphasizes corporate, commercial and financial matters and not-for-profit law. For thirty-five years, he has handled mergers and acquisitions; international and domestic business, investment and financial transactions; project finance; international and domestic joint ventures; and distribution, licensing and general commercial agreements. He has particular experience in representing privately-held businesses and their owners for such matters as start-up and funding; governance, management and shareholder disputes; family succession and wealth transfer; and exit strategies. Mr. Druker is also a member of Anderson Kill's Financial Services Industry group and Banking and Lending group.
Mr. Druker has broad experience in industries ranging from consumer goods (gold and gemstone jewelry, apparel) to industrial and engineered products (bearings, machine tools) and technology (imaging R&D, computer systems installations). His practice often calls upon his knowledge of different legal systems and business environments, as well as governmental regulation of securities and financial markets, trade and competition.
In the not-for-profit area, Mr. Druker has represented substantial education and charitable, music performance and arts-related organizations and a museum. In this connection, he has also handled many issues pertaining to purchase and sale and financing of the acquisition of fine art. He has served as director or officer for businesses and not-for-profits.
Mr. Druker has advised on the organization, operation and financing of captive insurance companies in both domestic and off-shore jurisdictions, for both publicly-traded and privately owned businesses. Such captives have acted as fronters and/or reinsurers and have provided a variety of products from terrorism damage coverage to stop-loss coverage for health benefits.
Mr. Druker has extensive experience in cross-border transactional matters, acquisitions, start-ups and commercial contracts, both in-bound and out-bound. Clients include companies based in most Western European countries, Japan, Canada, Dominican Republic and of US companies in their off-shore dealings, in industries ranging from automotive, machine tools, marine engines, waste-disposal systems and energy, to apparel, jewelry, prepared foods and wine.

Mr. Druker speaks Dutch and has a working knowledge of French and German. His publications and presentations have covered topics under finance law, competition law and lender liability, and include a standard text on public finance for the European Union.
