Bob Cornish is a partner in the Washington D.C. office of Anderson Kill. He focuses his practice on assisting innovators in the global financial, immigration investment and digital assets markets in regulatory, compliance, corporate and litigation matters. Bob is a member of the Cyber Insurance Recovery Practice Group.
Recognized as one of the Top 5 Litigators in the EB-5 arena by his peers and a thought leader on broker-dealer and investment adviser compliance in the EB-5 space, Bob counsels Regional Centers, real estate developers and financial intermediaries on a wide variety of corporate and litigation matters. Bob is also a member of the EB-5 Securities Roundtable, a group of leading EB-5 securities attorneys organized to facilitate best practices in the offerings of EB-5 securities and to urge harmonization of the EB-5 program with U.S. securities laws.
Bob has also represented issuers, advisors and service providers in the digital assets arena on securities-related compliance matters. Bob has been an active contributor to, and public ambassador for Wyoming’s efforts to draft and enact its comprehensive legislation to foster the domestic and international growth of the digital assets industry in the United States.
Bob is a Chairperson-trained arbitrator for FINRA, NFA and the London Court of International Arbitration, and a Rule 31 Mediator with the Tennessee Supreme Court. He represents clients on FINRA and NFA arbitrations and court proceedings, and securities and commodities registrants in connection with enforcement and disciplinary proceedings before FINRA, NFA, CFTC, SEC and state securities regulators.
