Mr. Salberg provided advice and counsel to employers in all areas of labor and employment law for more than thirty-five years. He served as management's chief spokesman and strategy advisor in union-management collective bargaining in numerous industries. He also guided many employers in successful efforts to maintain union-free workplace environments. Additionally, Mr. Salberg assisted employers with respect to the full spectrum of related issues, such as plant opening and closing, relocation, reduction in force and introduction of technological change.
Mr. Salberg had particular experience in counseling management in planning and implementing participative labor-management cooperation programs. He was also experienced in executive compensation and executive employment agreements. in addition, he acted as senior labor counsel to major employers in the paper and pulp, cement, electronics, publishing, communications, garment and other manufacturing and service industries, as well as not-for-profit institutions.
