Sheldon Eisenberger Joins Anderson Kill’s Litigation Practice as a Shareholder

Sheldon Eisenberger, a veteran corporate litigator, has joined Anderson Kill P.C. as a shareholder in the firm's New York office.  He comes to Anderson Kill from a New York based boutique firm.

Eisenberger has over 30 years of experience representing clients in sophisticated commercial disputes involving bankruptcy, estates and trusts, finance, real estate, securities, tax, and white-collar defense. He has tried many cases to conclusion in a wide array of venues including U.S. District Courts, state courts, bankruptcy courts, and tax courts throughout the country. Mr. Eisenberger also maintains an active representation in international financial markets, especially in Israel.

In addition to his litigation and arbitration mediation practice, Mr. Eisenberger is also sought after to represent clients in the Beth Din arena for those clients who prefer arbitrations governed by Jewish Halachic law, which also incorporates secular law.  He has also arbitrated many commercial matters before the Diamond Dealers Club and the American Arbitration Association.

A certified CPA as well as an attorney, Mr. Eisenberger for many years operated his own accounting and law firm, focusing increasingly on tax fraud litigation and then more generally on commercial litigation. His practice has long been international, with clients in the United Kingdom and Gibraltar as well as Israel.

“Sheldon is a master litigator with a proven track record in courts across the country and abroad,” said Robert M. Horkovich, Anderson Kill’s managing shareholder. “He adds breadth and depth to our litigation capabilities, and we’re delighted to welcome him into the firm.”

Mr. Eisenberger is admitted to practice in New York, in U.S. Tax Court in New York, and in a number of federal district and appeals courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He holds an L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from New York Law School, and a B.B.A. from City College Baruch.
