Bob has recovered more than $5 billion in settlements and judgments from insurance companies for his clients over the course of his career. His 2018 successes include a New York appellate decision upholding a decision in favor coverage for long-tail asbestos claims arising out of the World Trade Center/Hudson project, an Oregon federal district court decision limiting the application of the pollution exclusion in favor of coverage for an environmental cleanup related to Portland Oregon Harbor, and a California federal district court decision recognizing coverage for claims brought by environmental agencies related to projects in San Diego Harbor.
