Jerry S. Goldman Re-elected Vice President of NYU Alumni Association

Jerry S. Goldman, a shareholder practicing in the Philadelphia and New York offices of Anderson Kill & Olick, P.C., has been elected to a third one-year term as Vice President of the New York University Alumni Association, which represents over 425,000 alumni from all the colleges and schools of NYU.

As Vice President, Mr. Goldman's responsibilities include acting as liaison to convey issues of concern from the alumni to the university; running the Alumni Days events; and assisting in the marketing and branding of the university.

Mr. Goldman maintains a highly successful and varied practice representing individuals and closely held businesses throughout the United States. He practices in the areas of general business law, complex litigation, white collar criminal defense, estate planning along with estate and trust administration, employment law, federal and international taxation and intellectual property.

His current practice includes serving as co-lead counsel in a series of lawsuits pertaining to the tragedy of 9/11. He represents the individuals murdered by the attacks on the World Trade Center involving issues relative to the scope of federal jurisdiction as to foreign defendants, the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, RICO, and the application of the ATA.

Prior to founding his practice in 1982, Mr. Goldman served as Senior Assistant District Attorney and Senior Supervising Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York.

Mr. Goldman holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, an LL.M. in Taxation from Temple University School of Law, and a B.A. with Honors in Politics from New York University (University College).
