Anderson Kill has appointed Raymond A. Mascia Jr., a shareholder in the firm's New York office, as co-chair of the firm's Financial Services Group, which counsels financial institutions in insurance recovery matters. He joins Carrie Maylor DiCanio, a shareholder based in Denver and New York, as co-chair.
Ray represents financial, corporate and governmental policyholders in all types of insurance recovery matters, including matters involving D&O coverage, professional liability coverage, general liability coverage, environmental and asbestos claims, commercial crime insurance, and first-party property and business interruption losses arising from natural disasters and other perils. Over the course of his career, Ray has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance proceeds for policyholders.
Anderson Kill has extensive experience representing mid-sized and large financial institutions in complex insurance matters. The Financial Services Group regularly counsels banks, investment companies and other financial institutions regarding their D&O insurance, E&O insurance, transaction liability (e.g., reps and warranties) insurance, captive insurance, commercial crime & fidelity insurance, computer and Internet 1st & 3rd party coverage, property insurance and kidnap & ransom insurance.
