In a Risk & Insurance article probing the implications of Michael Cohen's allegations that the Trump Organization has misrepresented the value of its properties to insurance companies, Anderson Kill's Dennis Artese discussed various possible effects of any such misrepresentations generally, e.g.: 

“If the policyholder was to provide false financial statements and other information inflating the historical performance of the business, that could have the effect of inflating its projected lost profits during the period of recovery.”
