Judge to flag-loving man: Can’t you fly it indoors?

Bruce Cholst is quoted by the New York Post in an article regarding a dispute between a New York tenant and his condo board. While the tenant claimed that the board objected to his flag-flying on ideological grounds, the condo board claimed it violates building bylaws against objects on window sills.

Cholst said in court that “the flagpole was screwed into the building exterior, piercing its “waterproof membrane” and exposing the facade to “water infiltration.”
