New Jersey has just passed a Victim's Rights statute that enormously extends the time in which victims of sex abuse can bring suit. This is expected to produce an avalanche of claims in the immediate future that pose novel issues for insurance brokers and their clients. We are presenting a one hour seminar in New Jersey on September 24 just for insurance brokers outlining and discussing claims handling and other issues involved in sex abuse claims. The topics that we will cover are set forth in the below agenda. This is a very timely seminar on a quickly developing new liability that brokers will face on behalf of their clients in the immediate future.
Agenda:
12:00 pm - 12:10 pm - Recent Developments in Sex Abuse Claims
12:10 pm - 12:20 pm - What Insurance Policy Applies?

12:30 pm - 12:40 pm - What is Standard for Insurance Coverage?
