TIME: 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM

ORGANIZER: 2018 ACC Greater Philadelphia IHCC Conference

Cyber attacks, hurricanes, slips, falls, breaks, and an assortment of other disruptions can have a substantial impact on business operations.  The good news is that there are lots of insurance products promising protection from security breaches, injuries and construction losses, as well as natural disasters.  The bad news is that many insurance products are laden with traps for the unwary.  Further, large losses and claims can prove even tougher to navigate when policyholders are met with an adversarial claims process.

In this session, we will identify and analyze some of the most frequent claims that arise with real estate and hospitality, and will offer analysis and insight for managing the risk of such claims, mitigating the losses caused by them, and obtaining insurance coverage for them.
