Anderson Kill's First Annual Blockchain conference focuses on risk management and disputes in the burgeoning blockchain and virtual currency ecosystem. While many blockchain events focus on securities regulation, our focus is on risk, dispute avoidance and litigation. To that end, our first panel will focus on recent developments in technology and innovation, with a focus on risk -- how it is being managed, and where it is being ignored, including gaps in governance structures for much blockchain infrastructure. A second panel will address current and future litigation trends, including the potential for "dead token litigation" -- that is, litigation regarding failed ICO's, where investor/contributor funds still remain available? What traditional litigation tools are available for this type of litigation in cases where teams, software and technology is distributed across the world? What special challenges, if any, arise out of assets controlled and controllable by "private keys", which can't be garnished or seized like traditional assets? Both panels are composed of a combination of seasoned trial lawyers and technical subject matter experts.
