The 2022 Atlantic hurricane season will begin on June 1, 2022, and experts are predicting another above-average hurricane season with major hurricanes making landfall. Pre-storm preparedness, a quick effective response, and tenacious pursuit of insurance recoveries are critical to getting businesses back up and running after a natural disaster and being made whole for their losses.
This program will equip attendees with strategies to:
- Develop a pre-storm preparedness plan, including assembly of claims and response teams and loss mitigation strategies;
- Employ effective emergency response measures, including moisture evaluation and mapping and materials evaluation, regulations and testing;
- Understanding key insurance coverage considerations, including property damage and business interruption coverages; and
- Pursue insurance claims and incentivize the insurance company to resolve them with due speed.
