Needed Changes to NY insurance Law to Fulfill the Promises of Protection

DATE: Friday, June 24, 2016

TIME: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

VENUE: UCONN - Stamford Campus, One University Place, Stamford, CT 06901

ORGANIZER: Westchester Fairfield Hudson CPCU Chapter

Tort reform is an attempt to create fairness in personal injury litigation.  Like beauty, what is fair is in the eye of the beholder.  The first part of the seminar will focus on the defendant's perspective of fairness under current New York law, and advocate potential changes.  The second part of this seminar will focus on the plaintiff's or policyholder's perspective and advocate potential changes.  The third part of this seminar will focus on NY Labor Law, which from a defendant's perspective is ugly.

We hope to see you at this informative seminar, as this complex topic is important to every insurance professional!
