Shareholders and unit owners will often submit renovation plans to the Board which are problematic either because they do not conform to Code or because their implantation would have a potentially adverse impact upon neighbors or the building's operation. Under these circumstances, the board has the right to say 'no' to all or parts of renovation proposals, or to require modifications to the plans presented. Attorney Cholst and Andrew Brucker and architects Oswald Bertolini and Eric Vonderhyde will guide participants in a discussion of renovation policies and procedures, the types of requests that are typically problematic and why, and suggestions on how to deal with them.
